There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into contention for a place in Darren Byfield's line-up.
McLloyd Oben, Charlie Wragg • Stratford Town
Charlie started and scored, whilst McLloyd was named on the bench as the Bards visited the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field and took on Spalding United.
Taking the lead via Lewis Ison with just nine-minutes played, the visitors were dragged back onto level terms almost instantly when Ben Fowkes scored for Spalding.
After reaching the break all-square, Stratford went on to score via Ison, the Bards Academy boss grabbing his second of the afternoon, with Charlie Wragg confirming the points sixteen minutes later.
Josh Gordon • Barrow
Josh scored as the Bluebirds saw their chances of avoiding a return to the National League take a blow as Barnet battled back to take all three points at the Hive.
Scoring via Gordon's 8th of the season with just three minutes on the clock, Barrow held onto their lead until the stroke of half-time when Kabongo Tshimanga got the final touch after a deflected effort on goal.
Mark Shelton put the Bees into the lead eight minutes into the second half before Rekeem Harper levelled the scores for Barrow with seventeen minutes remaining.
Callum Stead was the man to break Barrow hearts late in the game when he scored to see the Bluebirds remain in the relegation zone, some four points behind 22nd-placed Newport County.
