Several players from the academy and first-team are out on loan, looking to earn more match minutes and potentially force their way into contention.
Ronan Maher • Tamworth
Ronan was named on the bench as Tamworth took on Braintree Town in their final National League outing of the season.
The Lambs secured a top-half finish with a comfortable 5-1 victory in front of 1,005 fans at the Lamb. A Stefan Mols brace, along with goals from Dan Creaney, Caleb Ansen, and Oli Lynch, cancelled out Lewis Walker's first-half leveller as the Lambs eased to victory.
Ronan was introduced with 65 minutes played as he replaced Ben Acquaye in attack.
Josh Gordon • Barrow
After sitting out the Bluebirds' victory over his parent club, Josh returned to the starting XI as Barrow took on Cambridge United at the Abbey Stadium.
The match didn't go well for the relegation-threatened Bluebirds as goals from Ben Knight, James Gibbons and an unfortunate Wyll Stanway saw the home side take all three points as thye hope to secure promotion back to League One on the final day.
Josh didn't complete the full game as he was replaced by Jovan Malcolm with seven minutes of the match remaining.
Charlie Wragg • Stratford Town
Charlie started as the Bards and St. Ives Town played out a goalless draw in the Southern League - Premier Central Division at Quattro-Tech Westwood Road.
Jago Godden • Drogheda United
Jago was named in the starting XI as the Drogs took on Shelbourne in the LoI Premier Division on Friday evening.
The match was a full-blown goal-fest that saw Shelbourne reach the half-time break with a two-goal lead as Sean Boyd and Paddy Barrett found the back of Fynn Talley's net.
Shelbourne's dominant lead didn't last, however, as a goal from Edwin Agbaje and a Warren Davis brace saw the Drogs not only battle back onto level terms but go on to lead.
Sadly for Jago, he missed much of the goal-fest as he was forced off ten minutes before the break as he was replaced by Shane Farrell.
Drogheda looked like they'd have to settle for a share of the spoils when a Harry Wood penalty saw Shelbourne draw level, but Conor Keeley struck to see the points go the way of the visitors.
