Bescot Banter - Walsall FC News
There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into contention.

Jenson Kilroy • Rushall Olympic
Jenson was an unused substitute as goals from Dom Dwyer and Liam McAlinden saw the Pics defeat Ilkeston Town two-nil on Easter Monday.

McLloyd Oben, Charlie Wragg • Stratford Town
Charlie started, and McLloyd was an unused substitute as the Bards defeated Play-Off chasing Kettering Town 2-0 at the DCS Stadium.

Goals from Joshua Ayotunde Toluwaloju (24') and Dan Lafferty (72') saw the home side secure three welcome points.

Charlie played for 83 minutes before being replaced by Henry Landers.

Will Etheridge • Stourbridge
Will was a second-half substitute as the Glassboys and Alvechurch played out a one-all draw at the War Memorial Athletic Ground.

The Church took the lead in the first half when defender Krystian Pearce reacted first to a saved penalty, but Charley Pavey levelled from the spot for Stourbridge in the second forty-five.

Will was one of a duo of changes early in the second half and played a part in the leveller, as his shot was handled by a defender inside the area.

Jago Godden • Droghead United
Jago started and scored as the Drogs lost 3-2 to Galway United in the League of Ireland Men's Premier Division at Sullivan & Lambe Park.

Goals from Mark Doyle (3') and Jago Godden saw the Drogs closing in on a first victory in eight games; however, efforts from Francely Lomboto (20'), Kris Twardek (61') and Axel Piesold (68') saw the visitors snatch the win.

Josh Gordon • Barrow
Josh started and played for fifty-five minutes as the Bluebirds lost 1-0 to Play-Off chasing Chesterfield at the SO Legal Stadium.

The only goal of the game went the way of the Spireites with sixty-two minutes played as James Berry reacted quickly to a defensive error.

Josh was replaced by Isaac Fletcher with ten minutes of the second-half played as Barrow boss Sam Foley opted for fresh legs in attack.
