2025/26 End of Season Awards: And the Winners Are...

The latest edition of the Walsall FC End of Season Awards took place in WS1 on Saturday evening.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsWalsall's Men and Women celebrated their 2026/26 End of Season Awards on Saturday evening as they made their way to the CSCM Suite at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium and saw several of this season's standout performers recognised for their contributions.

As with the previous campaign, the season has been one of highs and lows, with the Saddlers seemingly heading to a repeat of 2024/26's drop-off that saw them have to settle for a place in the Play-Offs, but they've somehow done even worse, as 1st place has been replaced with mid-table mediocrity.

However, this evening is one of celebration as fans and club officials come together to recognise the few positives that have taken place across the campaign, and you can find a rundown of the winners below.

Player of the Season: Daniel Kanu
Young Player of the Season: Daniel Kanu
Players’ Player of the Season: Daniel Kanu
Goal of the Season: Alex Pattison [v Newport County - Sat, 21st March]
Top Goalscorer: Daniel Kanu [18 all comps]
Apprentice of the Season: Will Etheridge
Community Champion: Sue Lane
Community Player of the Season: Albert Adomah
1888 Lounge Members' Player of the Season: Aden Flint
Fan of the Season: Perri Bailey

As they prepare for their season-ending clash away to Newcastle Town on Sunday, Walsall FC Women celebrated their strong 2025/26 campaign with the End of Season Awards on Saturday.

Heading for a second-place finish behind champions Lichfield City in the West Midlands Regional Women's Football League – Division One North, Walsall Women have enjoyed a successful season and were on hand to receive a raft of awards, the winners of which you can see below.

Player of the Season: Freya Nixon
Players' Player of the Season: Olivia Wells
Top Goalscorer: Mia Fellows [18 in all competitions]

Our sincere congratulations to all!
