There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.
Jenson Kilroy • Rushall Olympic
After making the month-long move to Rushall, Jenson went straight into the starting XI as the Pics welcomed Whitby Town to Dales Lane for a Northern Premier League, Premier Division clash.
The match was a close-fought affair with four goals scored, but no winner was confirmed as the spoils were shared.
Whitby started the game on the front foot and scored with little more than two-minutes played when Matty Tymon scored after Jenson had thwarted Jake Charles' initial effort.
Rushall levelled the scores with fifteen minutes of the first half played when Daniel Chimeziri struck home from inside the area.
The second half also saw two goals scored when Layton Watts (59') put the visitors into the lead before Luke Enright (61') levelled for the Pics
Jago Godden • Drogheda United
Jago was a second-half substitute as the Drogs lost 2-1 to Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds on Saturday evening.
The home side grabbed the first two goals of the game as Will Fitzgerald and Alex Nolan scored in either half before Mark Doyle’s penalty gave Drogheda a glimmer of hope.
Jago was called into action with eleven minutes of the second half played as he replaced Ryan Brennan in midfield.
Josh Gordon • Barrow
Josh started and scored as Barrow made their way to the EV Charger Points Stadium and took on Cheltenham Town on Friday evening.
Looking to maximise their opportunity to move away from the drop zone, the Bluebirds fell behind with fifteen minutes played as an Isaac Hutchinson-assisted Josh Davison struck home.
Barrow hit back when Ben Jackson's pass found Charlie McCann with six minutes of the first-half remaining, before Josh Gordon put them into the lead just before the hour mark.
Sadly for Josh, his goal was eventually cancelled out by Hutchinson, who went on to grab a goal of his own on the stroke of full-time – former Walsall loanee George Miller providing the assist.
George was replaced by Danny Rose some sixteen minutes before full-time as the spoils were shared.
Charlie Wragg • Stratford Town
Charlie was involved as the Bards took on Leiston at the Flannery Stadium on Saturday afternoon; however, their coverage of their own team is so poor that we have very little to go on other than Wragg replacing 'JT' after 75 minutes.
The game itself saw no goals in the opening forty-five but was swiftly into action in the second when Eddie Jackson put Leiston ahead. The Bards would ultimately snatch a share of the spoils when Lewis Ludford-Ison levelled.
