Walsall's 2025/26 League Two season continued on Saturday afternoon when they welcomed Barnet to the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.
The opening goal of the game didn't arrive until shortly before the break, when Adam Senior got on the end of a Kane Smith cross to poke the ball over the line and into the back of Myles Roberts' net.
The Bees' second goal arrived nine minutes into the second-half when Idris Kanu added to the Saddlers' woes after making the most of a dangerous cross into the Walsall box with a powerful strike.
Walsall grabbed a goal of their own later in the half when Daniel became the second Kanu but the first Saddler to hit the back of the net. A glimmer of hope for the men in red.
Barnet worked quickly to rebuild their two-goal lead as, with just four minutes played since Daniel Kanu's goal, Kabongo Tshimanga made it 3-1 with his fourth goal in five games.
