Following the news that he'd made a swift return to the Saddlers, on-loan Stockport County midfielder Jid Okeke has welcomed the opportunity to link back up with the club.Okeke, who spent the first half of the season at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium making twenty first-team appearances, was recalled by his parent club earlier in the new year.
Going on to make three appearances, during one of which he produced a match-winning assist, Jid is keen to pick up where he left off and help the team get back to winning ways.
Speaking via the club's official website, Jid said: "I'm excited to be back.
"I really enjoyed my time at the club the first time around; everyone made me feel so welcome, and that's important for me – from the moment I walked in, you could tell this is a good group and a good environment to be involved in.
"I'm looking forward to picking up where I left off, putting on the shirt and seeing everyone again."
