Walsall's on-loan Blackpool midfielder Ryan Finnigan has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month award for November.22-year-old Finnigan notched up three goals and one assist during the month, including a brace in our win at Rodney Parade against Newport County.
Bradley Dack (Gillingham) – midfielder
Dack’s minutes are being managed, but his quality and football intelligence continue to shine through at both ends. In four games, he made two points-saving clearances off the line and scored two stunners, against Crawley and Barnet.
Omar Sowunmi (Bromley) – central defender
The giant, no-nonsense central defender was his usual solid self in defence, contributing to two clean sheets in four games. He also made his imposing aerial presence felt in the opposition area at set pieces, with two goals and an assist.
Charlie Whitaker (Tranmere Rovers)
Given licence to float across the front line, Whitaker put his shooting ability to good use with three neatly-taken goals in three games. His superb free-kick also brought the winner against Cheltenham, even though it was classified as an own goal.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies. The winner will be announced on Friday, 12th December.
