Walsall will be back in action on Thursday afternoon as they make their way to the Cledara Abbey Stadium, and take on Cambridge United in their first game of the new year.

The EFL has confirmed that Wayne Cartmel who is based in Bedfordshire will take charge of the match with Michael Webb and Stephen Finch being named as assistant referees, whilst Jack Forder-Hay has been selected as Fourth Official.
