Loan Watch: Saturday, 6th December 2025

Here is our latest look at how the loaned-out Saddlers got on during their most recent outing.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC News
There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

Louie Webb - Coleshill Town
Louie was named in the starting XI as the Colemen played host to Anstey Nomads in the Northern Premier League — Midlands Division at Packington Lane.

Webb, who made the move on Friday evening, joins a team that includes former Saddlers scholars Alex McSkeane and Marvellous Onabirekhanlen among their ranks.

The first goal of the game went the way of the visitors as Jordan Annable netted with fourteen minutes played, but the home side were able to level the scores six minutes before the break when Harry Sweeney hit home.

Louie didn't complete the full game, as he was replaced by Giovanni Dainty just after the hour mark.

Ronan Maher - Tamworth
Ronan was named in the starting XI as Tamworth visited Glanford Park and took on Andy Butler's Scunthorpe United in the National League's late kick-off.

The opening goal of the game went the way of the Lambs when defender Joe Starbuck sent the ball into his own net after Dan Creaney tried to guide the ball home.

The home side levelled the scores just four minutes after the Lambs' opener, when Tyrell Sellars-Fleming rounded the 'keeper and slotted an effort over the line.

Scunthorpe went into the lead with fifteen minutes of the second-half remaining when Carlton Ubaezuonu got the better of Jas Singh not once but twice as he added two goals to seal the win.

Ronan completed the full ninety-minutes, but couldn't contribute to a win as the Iron took all three points.

Josh Gordon - Barrow AFC
Josh returned to the Bluebirds' starting XI as they made their way to the Brick Community Stadium and took on Wigan Athletic in the Second Round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The Latics opened the scoring with thirteen minutes played when James Carragher put the ball into the back of Wyll Stanway's goal.

Former Saddler Jack Earing levelled the scores for Barrow twenty-minutes into the second-half, with Niall Canavan putting them ahead with five minutes remaining.

Wigan grabbed a leveller with two minutes remaining as Will Aimson took the game to an extra time period that produced no goals.

The resulting penalty shoot-out saw the Latics book their place in the Third Round. Josh Gordon scored from the spot, but it wasn't enough as Wigan won 4-3.

Charlie Wragg - Halesowen Town
Charlie made the starting XI as the Yeltz took on Kettering Town in the Southern Premier League Central at the Grove.

Charlie was involved in plenty of the action and almost opened the scoring six minutes before the break, but could only fire over following a sweeping attack.

It was the Poppies who would open the scoring when Levi Andoh struck the ball over the line with just three minutes of the first-half still to play.

The Yeltz were eventually able to grab a leveller when Jason Cowley added another goal to his tally with sixty-eight played as the spoils were shared.

Levi Amantchi - Rochdale
Levi was an unused substitute as the table-topping Dale welcomed Southend United to the Crown Oil Arena for a National League Clash.

The Shrimpers were the ones to open the scoring when Oli Coker put his side ahead, giving them hope as they looked to close the gap on the league leaders.

Rochdale levelled the scores early in the second-half via Ryan East, before Tarryn Allarakhia put them ahead with sixteen minutes remaining.

Sadly, the conditions worsened throughout the game and, following a period of suspension, the match was abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch.
