There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.
Sam Oliver • Dudley Town
Sam Oliver started and completed the contest as Dudley Town made their way to the Castlecroft Stadium and took on AFC Wolverhampton City on Saturday afternoon.
It was a dismal afternoon for the Robins as goals from Timmy Oyanda, Jordan Uppal, Kie Houlihan, and Luqman Wirba saw the home side ease to victory.
Will Etheridge, Paul Makavore • Darlaston Town
Paul Makavore was named in the starting XI, whilst Will Etheridge had to make do with a place on the bench as Darlaston Town took on Vauxhall Motors in Ellesmere Port.
It was another difficult game for Saddlers loanees, as goals from Nathan Sandison, Conor Harwood (2), Nick Rushton and Kyle Sambor saw Vauxhall ease to victory.
Makavore played for just under seventy minutes, whilst Etheridge was introduced with sixty-two minutes on the clock as they opened their spell with a defeat.
Ronan Maher • Tamworth
Ronan started as Tamworth took on Boston United in the Third Round of the FA Trophy at the Lamb Ground.
It was a tight affair with both sides scoring a goal before the match ultimately went to a penalty shoot-out that the Lambs won 5-4.
Stefan Mols put Tamworth ahead early in the second-half, before Frankie Maguire levelled for the Pilgrims sixteen minutes before full-time.
Maher saw his spot-kick saved, but that didn't impact the eventual result, with Lambs stopper Jas Singh in superb form, saving the visitors' opening efforts.
Lincoln Hunt • Worcester Raiders
Lincoln was named on the bench as the Raiders took on Royal Wootton Bassett Town in the Fourth Round of the Hellenic League Challenge Cup.
It would turn out to be a debut to dream of for the young attacker, as he came off the bench to grab a goal as his short-term side secured safe passage to the net round.
Joined on the scoresheet by Bailey Fuller and Kiyan Baker-McKay, Hunt also played a part in fellow substitute Baker-McKay's goals as he begins his spell away from WS1.
Ollie Nash • Smethwick Rangers
Ollie Nash was one of a handful of young Saddlers to head out on loan as the Under-18s begin a spell without action.
The first game of his stay was Smethwick visit Meadow Lane in Leicester as they took on Birstall United in the Midland Football League.
The match was a close affair that saw the home side take the points as Nick Reeves scored the only goal of the game with thirty-minutes on the clock.
Charlie Wragg • Halesowen Town
Charlie was a late second-half substitute as Halesowen Town and AFC Sudbury played out a five-all draw in the Southern League.
Coming on for McKauley Manning in the ninth minute of second-half stoppage time, Wragg had very little involvement in the contest and will be keen for more match minutes when the Yeltz net return to action.
Josh Gordon • Barrow
Josh started and scored a brace as Barrow bounced back from going two goals down to take a welcome point away to Gillingham, in the wake of Andy Whing's recent departure.
An own goal from former Saddler Jack Earing was added to by Aaron Rowe as the Gills reached the break with a comfortable lead.
However, scoring his third and fourth goals of the season, Josh dragged the Bluebirds back onto level terms as they registered their ninth draw of the season.
Levi Amantchi • Rochdale
Levi came off the bench and scored the only goal of the game as the Dale edged past Leamington in the Third Round of the FA Trophy.
Replacing Ian Henderson at half-time, Levi scored his first goal of the season to help his team through to the next round.
