Here are the Match Stats from the Saddlers' FA Cup clash with Eastleigh.
Walsall were back in action on Sunday afternoon as they took on Enterprise National League side Eastleigh in the First Round of the 2025/26 Emirates FA Cup.

The Saddlers got off to a superb start when Evan Weir grabbed the opening goal of the game with just six-minutes on the clock, a disappointing start for the home side's defence, who failed to get rid of the danger.

Mat Sadler's men doubled their lead five minutes into the second half, when on-loan Charlton Athletic forward Daniel Kanu scored his fifth goal of the season following an Evan Weir slide-rule pass.

Walsall's third and final goal came via second-half substitute Jamille Matt, who capitalised upon a defensive error to put the Saddlers into a comfortable lead.
