There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.
Jenson Kilroy • Evesham United
Jenson retained his place in the starting XI as the Robins played host to Havant & Waterlooville in the Pitching In Southern Premier Division South on Saturday afternoon.
Sadly for the young stopper and his side, he was unable to retain his clean sheet as Ryan Seager scored from distance after spotting Jenson off his line midway through the first-half.
Dylan Thomas • Worcester City
Dylan was a second-half substitute as Worcester suffered a narrow defeat to Needham Market in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central on Saturday afternoon.
The first and only goal of the game arrived with just nine minutes on the clock when Jamie McGrath got on the end of a Luke Ingram cross to fire the ball beyond Jack Thompson and into the back of the net.
Taking to the field with just eleven minutes of normal time remaining, Dylan replaced Logan Stoddart but was unable to help his team back into the game as Needham took all three points.
Levi Amantchi • Rochdale
Levi was a late second-half substitute as Rochdale welcomed Altrincham to the Crown Oil Arena for their latest Enterprise National League outing of the season.
The opening goal of the game went the way of the visitors when Keaton Ward sent a stunning effort into the back of Dale goalkeeper Oliver Whatmuff's net.
Tarryn Allarakhia put the home side back on level terms later in the half, before Tylor Golden put the ball into his own net to allow Rochdale to retain their unbeaten start to the season.
Replacing former Saddler Devante Rodney with just five-minutes of the game to pay, Levi will be hoping to earn more match minutes in the days and weeks ahead.
Charlie Wragg • Halesowen Town
Charlie started as the Yeltz welcomed Real Bedford to the Grove for their latest Pitching In Southern League Premier Central match of the new campaign.
In what proved to be an entertaining affair, Bedford grabbed the first goal of the game thirteen minutes into the second half when Ben Stevens got the better of Dan Platt.
Jack Hickman levelled the scores later in the first-half as he got the final touch following a well-placed corner.
The goal-scoring continued when Joey Evans put the visitors back into the lead just before the break, only for Jason Cowley to level the scores in the second-forty-five.
Charlie was replaced by Harry Burns with sixteen minutes of the game remaining, but the winning goal of the game still had a Saddlers connection, as Milan Butterfield put Healseowen ahead six minutes before full-time.
