
Walsall-born Allen signed for the Saddlers from Forest Green Rovers in June 2022, and made 119 first-team appearances, scoring fourteen goals during his stay in WS1.
He began his career at Romulus before joining Nuneaton Borough in January 2019 and whilst at Nuneaton he also had a trial spell with Leicester City.
His impressive displays at Liberty Way caught the eye of Forest Green who snapped him up in April 2019 ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
He scored the winner on his debut for Rovers in a 1-0 win over Oldham Athletic in August 2019. During his time at Forest Green, he played as a forward before making the switch to a midfield role.
He also enjoyed loan spells at National League North sides Hereford, Gloucester City and Leamington before earning a switch to the Saddlers.
