Walsall midfielder Ryan Stirk has rejected the Saddlers' offer of a new contract and agreed to join their League Two rivals Chesterfield at the conclusion of his current deal on Tuesday, 1st July. 24-year-old, Birmingham-born Stirk, who was part of the Walsall team that knocked the Spireites out of the League Two Play-Offs, arrived in WS1 from Birmingham City in July 2023, and went on to make 97 first-team appearances, scoring four goals.
