
The Club has confirmed that young goalkeeper Jenson Kilroy has signed his first professional contract at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.

18-year-old Kilroy has impressed throughout his scholarship and gained men’s football experience during loan stints with Hereford Pegasus, Stratford Town and Farsley Celtic.
Kilroy, who has been at the club since the age of 10, has also trained with the first team and been involved in matchday squads during his scholarship. His professionalism, character and good performances earned him the Apprentice of the Year award for the 2024/25 season.
Speaking via the club's official website, Head Coach Mat Sadler admitted he is pleased to reward Kilroy for his hard work, he said: "I’m delighted Jenson has secured his first professional contract, it’s thoroughly deserved.
"He’s worked extremely hard over the last two years of his scholarship to earn this chance, so we’re delighted to offer that to him.
"He now starts the next part of his development and the next part of his learning. He’s made great strides, but the work starts now."
Academy Manager Rob Williams is also proud to see another player progress through the academy and earn a professional contract, he added: "Jenson joined the Academy as an Under 11 and in the three years I have known him, he has worked very hard both on and off the pitch, maintaining high performance levels on a consistent basis.
"He also enjoyed a large period of his second year on loan gaining valuable experience around the adult game.
"Everyone in the Academy is very proud to see him sign his first professional contract with the club."
