Walsall midfielder Brandon Comley was in action on Wednesday morning as Montserrat took on Guyana in the latest round of CONCACAF qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Looking to build upon their recent win over the Belize, Montserrat made their way to the Synthetic Track and Field Facility in Leonora, Guyana and took on a team that didn't include Walsall defender Liam Gordon.

However, with goals from Maidenhead United midfielder Nathan Ferguson, Seattle Sounders striker Osaze De Rosario, and Chicago Fire striker Omari Glasgow, it was the Golden Jaguars who would ease to victory, and close the gap on their opponents.

Despite the result, both Guyana and Montserrat have been eliminated from the competition as they failed to secure enough points to earn a place in the Third Round of qualification.

Brandon, who was recently selected as the Emerald Boys' captain, once again completed the full match, but will no doubt be disappointed not to be able to help his side to continue their bid to reach next year's FIFA World Cup.
