Going into Friday evening's second leg on the back of last weekend's welcome 2-0 win over the Spireites, the Saddlers scored two more goals on the way to a 2-1 triumph.
Mat Sadler's side opened the scoring via substitute Charlie Lakin nine minutes before full-time, but it was in injury time where the drama occurred as Armando Dobra levelled the scores with 94 minutes on the clock, only for Levi Amantchi to put the Saddlers back ahead a minute later.
Walsall will now take on either Notts County or AFC Wimbledon, who meet in their second leg on Saturday afternoon, in the final at the national stadium on Monday, 26th May.
