Mat Sadler Among League Two's Manager of the Month Nominees

The gaffer spearheaded a stunning month as the Saddlers finally showed what they're capable of.

Walsall Head Coach Mat Sadler has been named among the nominees for Sky Bet League Two's Manager of the Month award for February.

Beginning the month in the lower reaches of the table, Sadler was able to guide his team to the top half and to Play-Off contention with a string of wins that rightly see him up for this month's award.

The gaffer had to contend with losing his two most experienced central defenders, yet still saw his team collect some fourteen points from seven games, ending with four straight wins.

Sadler is up against, Graham Alexander (Bradford City), Lee Bell (Crewe Alexandra), and Nigel Clough (Mansfield Town).
