Emmanuel Adegboyega Among February's Player of the Month Nominees

The central defender was one of the top players in the month of February.

Walsall defender Emmanuel Adegboyega has been named among the nominees for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month award for February.

On-loan from Norwich City, Emmanuel had to bide his time before bursting onto the scene, and when he was handed his opportunity, he took it with both hands, brave in blocking shots and composed on the ball, the 20-year-old’s first four games of his EFL career were stunning.

They brought four wins, just two goals conceded and three scored at the other end, including winners against Mansfield Town and Accrington Stanley.

Adegboyega is up against Hakeeb Adelakun (Doncaster Rovers), Mickey Demetriou (Crewe Alexandra), and Will Evans (Newport County).
