Walsall midfielder Ronan Maher and forward Marvellous Onabirekhanlen are currently out on loan as they look to gain experience and maybe force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

Ronan Maher had little time to settle into his new surroundings as he was named in the starting eleven as Rushall Olympic welcomed Banbury United to Dales Lane in the National League North on Saturday afternoon.

The match ultimately ended all-square as Lawson D'Ath opened the scoring for the visitors after seventy minutes before Pics man Danny Waldron levelled the scores later in the half.

Only meeting his new colleagues in the moments before kick-off, Ronan played for the majority of the game before being replaced by Kai Tonge with seventy-three minutes on the clock and entered a strong, energetic display that saw him collect the Man of the Match award at full-time.

Marvellous Onabirekhanlen was an unused substitute as Stourbridge defeated Berkhamsted by a goal-to-nil on Saturday afternoon.

Niall Flint's second-half goal proved to be enough to secure the win for the Glassboys who now turn their attention to Monday's meeting with Bromsgrove Sporting.
