Here is our latest look at how the loaned-out Saddlers are getting on during their time away from WS1.

Walsall midfielder Ronan Maher and forward Marvellous Onabirekhanlen are currently out on loan as they look to gain experience and maybe force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

Following his Man of the Match winning display at the weekend, Ronan Maher retained his starting spot as Rushall made the trip to the TigerTurf Stadium where they were due to take on Gloucester City in the National League South.

Maher, who has always played with an energetic style, was heavily involved in the first-half action as he both created openings of his own and for others, including a well-saved effort after twelve-minutes, and a powerful shot just before the break.

Despite the Pics' few efforts on goal it was the home side who took the lead with Brandon Smalley netting past on-loan West Bromwich Albion 'keeper Brad Foster.

Ronan was among a trip of Olympic substitutes, that included former Saddler Sam Manton taking to the pitch, after an hour as manager Liam McDonald looked to get his team back on level terms.

The changes didn't have the desired effect as former Walsall scholar Ethan Fremantle doubled Gloucester's lead in the dying stages of the second half. A disappointing result for the Pics.

Marvellous Onabirekhanlen continued his frustrating spell with Stourbridge as he wasn't named in their matchday squad for their meeting with Bromsgrove Sporting.

The match itself ended all-square after Miro Pais opened the scoring for Sporting in first-half stoppage time with Luke Benbow putting the Glassboys back on level terms from the spot in the second forty-five.
