Walsall FC Women Set to Face Port Vale Women at Poundland Bescot Stadium

Walsall FC Women are set to take over Poundland Bescot Stadium for one of their upcoming fixtures.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsThe Club has confirmed that Walsall FC Women will take on Port Vale Women at Poundland Bescot Stadium on Saturday, 22nd April following the men’s first team game against Salford City.

Walsall Women, who play in the West Midlands Regional Women's Football League Division One North, will play at the Poundland Bescot Stadium for the very first time as they look to climb up the table and finish the season strongly.

The match is set to kick-off will be at 6.00pm and admission is free with supporters housed in the Tile Choice Main Stand.

Any supporter who is at the men’s fixture and would like to stay for the women’s match will be escorted to the Tile Choice Main Stand.

Walsall Women Manager Steve Guest is excited to be playing at the stadium and is looking forward to what is set to be a great occasion.

Speaking via the club's official website, he said; "This is a fantastic moment for Walsall FC Women to be playing at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

"It shows the support for the women’s game here is getting better. It’s been amazing to see the support from everyone here at Walsall FC, the players, people who come and support us home and away and all the staff behind the scenes.

"It’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone. The future looks exciting and we hope that all the Saddlers fans can join us along the way."
