Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsWalsall's on-loan Bristol City defender Joe Low has been named in the Wales Under-21 squad for their upcoming international challenge match against Scotland U21s in Pinatar.

Low has made eight first-team appearances since joining the Saddlers in January, with the 21-year-old finding the back of the net against Leyton Orient in February.

Head Coach Matty Jones has selected a 24-player squad for his side’s first camp of the year as they continue preparations for their UEFA Euro Under-21 qualifying campaign, which begins with a trip to Denmark in June.

Ollie Denham and Rubin Colwill have been called up to the senior team previously, with the latter featuring at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and are both named in Jones’ squad.

Under-21 regulars Fin Stevens, Oli Hammond, Eli King, and Owen Beck have also been included in the squad alongside captain Ed Turns, while Jones has named 10 uncapped players.

Wales U21s are due to take on Scotland on Sunday, 26th March in south-east Spain, with kick-off scheduled for midday at the Pinatar Arena.
