Walsall boss Michael Flynn has spoken to the local press and confirmed that he is hoping to add a couple of players to his squad ahead of Tuesday evening's Transfer Deadline.
With the window set to close at 11.00pm tomorrow evening, the gaffer and his team are in a race against time if they are to strengthen with a view to continuing their steady climb towards the Play-Off place.
Flynn, who has already added the likes of Jackson Smith, Joe Low, Robbie Willmott, and striker Jamille Matt to his squad in January, is looking to add more options, with the team set to play twice a week for much of the next few months.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Michael said; "We are up against it now because of the schedule but I have a great bunch of players who give me everything and with one or two additions I hope to bring in we can see it through.
"It is going to be two games a week from now on and it is a tough schedule, everybody knows that and if we can have strength in depth to help us along then that's all the better so I am hoping we can get a couple in."
