The Club has confirmed that the Saddlers' Sky Bet League Two trip to Salford City, which was due to take place on Saturday, 10th December, has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at the Ammies' Peninsula Stadium.
A pitch inspection was held at Salford on Friday afternoon and the pitch has been deemed unplayable as, with temperatures plummeting to below -5°C throughout the week, it’s been considered by the EFL extreme enough to consider early postponement in the interest of the fans.
Tickets purchased for the fixture will be valid for the rearranged match with a new date and kick-off time to be confirmed in due course.
