After failing to win any of their last six league outings, the Saddlers were faced with league leaders Leyton Orient and an ever-increasing need to return to winning ways.
The game was something of a turgid affair with much of the play taking place in midfield, though there was eventually a goal as Omar Beckles pounced on a loose ball to prod the ball past Owen Evans and into the back of the net.
