Walsall's Liam Gordon has taken to Twitter to confirm that he has undergone a successful operation on his foot after suffering an injury during a recent training session at the club's Essington Training Ground.
Gordon a former Bolton Wanderers defender, who was the first man to make the move to the Saddlers this summer, gave no timeline for a return as he joins the likes of Joss Labadie, Conor Wilkinson, and fellow new arrival Oisin McEetee on the sidelines.
