EFL Trophy: Walsall's Group Stage Schedule Confirmed

There are a few more dates for your diaries.

As the Saddlers' 2022/23 campaign draws ever closer, we have a few more fixtures to add to the list as we now know when the Reds' EFL Trophy - Southern Group C games will take place.

• Walsall to face Cheltenham Town, MK Dons & West Ham United U21s in Group Stage 

• Tournament continues to welcome so-called elite sides into the group stage

• Saddlers matches to be played over three months as schedule begins to fill up

Drawn against Cheltenham Town, Milton Keynes Dons and West Ham United's Under-21s, the Saddlers will take on an opponent over the course of three months as they look to secure a place in the Second Round.

Michael Flynn's side will play host to the Hammers on Tuesday, 30th August before tackling Cheltenham Town away on Tuesday, 20th September ahead of their final group game which sees Milton Keynes Dons visit Poundland Bescot Stadium on Tuesday, 18th October.
