Walsall defender Joe Foulkes and midfielder Joe Willis are currently away on short-term loan deals as they look to force their way into Michael Flynn's first-team plans.

Defender Foulkes is plying his trade in the Vanarama National League North with Kidderminster Harriers, whilst midfielder Willis is with Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting.

Joe Foulkes continued his spell in the Harriers' starting eleven as they welcomed Southport to Aggborough on Saturday afternoon, with the home side looking to add to their advantage over the teams looking to steal their place in the Play-Offs.

The match itself, which was played in front of some 1,955 fans, was a high-scoring affair with Kidderminster putting their visitors to the sword as they bagged six goals without reply on what was a superb display from Russ Penn's side.

Goals from Ashley Hemmings, who netted a brace, Omari Sterling, Amari Morgan-Smith, Ethan Freemantle, Cliff Moyo were more than enough to see Kidderminster home to victory, during what was an afternoon to remember in Worcestershire.

Joe Willis was also named in his side's starting eleven as Bromsgrove Sporting played host to Needham Market on Saturday afternoon, and, whilst the Rouslers were also able to secure a welcome win, the match wasn't blessed with as many goals.

In fact, Matt Barnes-Home's third-minute effort proved to be enough to separate the sides as the Rouslers gave themselves a welcome gap over the danger zone, though they are far from out of trouble and will need to grab many more points before relegation is no longer a possibility.
