Jamie Fullarton Departs

There has been a high-profile departure in WS1.

The club has confirmed that, as of Thursday, 14th April 2022, Technical Director Jamie Fullarton has left his role at Banks's Stadium.

During his time as Technical Director, Fullarton has been responsible for restructuring the entire Football Department, implementing infrastructure throughout, including the Academy, to create a foundation but now feels the time is right for a new challenge.

Speaking via the club's official website, Jamie said; "I would like to thank the Chairman, the Board, all the staff and players at Walsall Football Club for their support during my time at the Club.

"Together we have developed a framework that should give the Club a platform to build this summer and beyond.

"It has been a privilege to be part of the project and I wish the Club every success in the future."
