Walsall prospect Jack Shaw made his first-team debut on Saturday afternoon as the Saddlers and hosts Colchester United played out a two-all draw at the Colchester Community Stadium.

Shaw, who has earned a place on the bench over the last few weeks, took to the field during second-half stoppage time, becoming the latest in a long line of players to rise through the ranks on WS1.

Shaw, who usually forms part of the club's Under-18s side, has enjoyed a strong season including making his full Wales Under-17s debut against Serbia in March, a debut you can read about, here.

We'd like to congratulate Jack on making his club debut and look forward to seeing him progress as he looks to force his way into the starting eleven.
