Walsall defender Joe Foulkes and midfielder Joe Willis are currently away on short-term loan deals as they look to force their way into Michael Flynn's first-team plans.

Defender Foulkes is plying his trade in the Vanarama National League North with Kidderminster Harriers, whilst midfielder Willis is with Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting.

Highly-rated defender Joe Foulkes missed Kidderminster's clash with top-of-the-table Gateshead on Saturday afternoon after receiving a red card last weekend.

However, it was an afternoon to forget for Russ Penn and his side as goals from Macauley Langstaff (2), Greg Olley, and Taylor Charters saw the league leaders extend their advantage over one of their title rivals.

Joe Willis was named on the bench as Bromsgrove Sporting made the trip to the Lamb Ground where they faced Tamworth with a view to earning their first win in four league games on Saturday afternoon.

Sadly for Joe, who would come off the bench late in the second-half, he was unable to change the direction of the game as Tamworth's Daniel Creaney had already grabbed what proved to be the only goal of the game midway through the second-forty-five.

An afternoon to forget for both the Saddlers as their respective teams dropped points.
