Here we find out how the Saddlers' loan stars are getting on during their spells away from WS1.

Walsall defender Joe Foulkes and midfielder Joe Willis are currently away on short-term loan deals as they look to force their way into Head Coach Matthew Taylor's first-team plans.

Defender Foulkes is plying his trade in the Vanarama National League North with Kidderminster Harriers, whilst midfielder Willis recently joined Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting after his Leamington loan was cut short.

As Joe Foulkes edges closer to a return to action following a spell on the sidelines, attention remains on  Joe Willis and the Rouslers, who were in action against Rushall Olympic in the Southern League Challenge Cup on Tuesday evening.

Sadly for Joe, who retained his place in the starting line-up, Sporting's hosts were able to secure safe passage into the next round as goals from Ben Usher-Shipway and Rackeem Reid were enough to secure the win at Dales Lane.

Joe played for the full ninety-minutes but was unable to help Bromsgrove to advance in the competition, although he did have a couple of goal-scoring opportunities, including one which would have halved the deficit with around ten-minutes of normal time remaining.
