Walsall supporter Kyle Harris, who passed away just a day after his 18th birthday, was laid to rest on Wednesday afternoon and a supporters group of which he was a member is calling upon Saddlers fans to take part in a tribute this weekend.

Kyle was a Saddlers Season Ticket holder and member of the Rainbow Group - an organisation which facilitates activities and experiences for adults and children with disabilities in Aldridge and the Walsall area and are avid supporters of Walsall FC - who have issued a statement asking fans to take part in a minutes' applause during the 18th minute of Saturday’s game against Stevenage to say goodbye from his Saddlers family.

The Rainbow Group is also hoping to raise funds in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice in memory of Kyle, with a JustGiving page already reaching over £1,250. You can donate to the fund, here. ❤️ Always a Saddler.
