Figures Reveal How Much Walsall Spent on Agents Fees Over the Last Year

Figures released by the Football Association have revealed how much Walsall spent on agents' fees over the last two transfer windows.
After securing a mid-table finish in 2019/20, Walsall retained the majority of last season's squad during the summer, but still spent money on agents fees as then-manager Darrell Clarke added players to key positions.

The Saddlers spent a total of £31,214 for the period between 1st February 2020 and 1st February 2021, out of a league total of £1,069,115, down from the £47,122 spent during the previous twelve months.

Whilst the Covid-19 crisis saw club revenues dip, some still managed to splash the cash with teams such as Salford City spent £137,884 up from the £111,619 paid out during the previous period.

Forest Green Rovers were able to find £79,372, Leyton Orient spent £72,117, whilst Bradford City splashed out £71,369 over the twelve month spell.
