Jake Scrimshaw Returns to Bournemouth as Walsall Loan Comes to an End

The Saddlers have one less player this afternoon as a loanee has returned to his parent club.
Walsall FC have confirmed that the loan of AFC Bournemouth striker Jake Scrimshaw has now come to an end with the player now returning to his parent club.

Jake, a product of the Cherries' youth system, joined the club alongside already departed Birmingham City striker Adan George on Deadline Day earlier is season.

The 20-year-old Isle of Wight-born forward made sixteen first-team appearances and scored two goals, the strikes coming in the form of a brace during the Saddlers' comeback win against Port Vale in December.

Following Jake's return to Bournemouth, Walsall boss Darrell Clarke said; "We’d like to thank Jake for his efforts during his spell with us and wish him well for the future. I’d also like to thank Bournemouth for allowing us to have Jake on a free loan."
