Youth Alliance: Walsall Face Tranmere Rovers Later Today

The Saddlers' young guns are back in action today as they travel to the North West.
Walsall Under-18s will be back in action this afternoon as they take on Tranmere Rovers Under-18s in their latest EFL Youth Alliance - North West outing of the season.

Managed by Miguel Llera, the young Saddlers have enjoyed an undefeated start to their Alliance campaign winning all three of their matches, including their most recent win, a two-nil triumph over Oldham Athletic.

Goals from Tommy Parker and Jayden Campbell saw the Saddlers continue their winning start as they arrive at this weekend's game level with league leaders Fleetwood Town, who only hold top spot thanks to alphabetical order.

Opponents Tranmere have drawn their two outings and will be keen to get their first win of the Alliance campaign as they play host to the young Saddlers later today.

Today's match is due to kick-off at midday and we hope to be able to bring you news of the result this afternoon.
