Walsall's EFL Trophy Dates & Kick-Off Times Have Been Confirmed

We now know when and where the Saddlers will play the group stages of the competition.

Walsall FC have confirmed dates and kick-off times for our EFL Trophy group stage matches.

The Saddlers, who were recently drawn into Group D of the Southern Section of the competition, will begin with a trip to Darrell Clarke’s former club Bristol Rovers on Tuesday, 8th September, kick-off 7.45pm.

Our second group game at home to Chelsea Under 21s, who Walsall knocked out of the competition last season with a 3-2 victory in the last 32, will take place on Tuesday, 29th September, also at 7.45pm.

The group phase will conclude on Tuesday, 10th November at home to League One side Oxford United, 7.45pm kick-off.

The Saddlers reached the last 16 of the tournament last season, losing 2-1 at home to Portsmouth back in January.
