The Trust: Player and Young Player of the Season Voting Open

Voting is now open for the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust's Player and Young Player of the Season awards and you can find out how to vote below!
As the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic continues to put paid to the world of professional sport the Trust has decided to open the voting process early and give supporters the opportunity to back their favourites.

With supporters being urged to 'Stay Home' to defeat the Covid-19 virus this season's poll will be conducted online, with the poll having opened at 10.00am today (Friday).

The Young Player of the Season award is for those aged 21 or under at the start of the 2019/20 campaign – meaning the whole of Brian Dutton's development squad qualify, alongside several first-team players such as Callum Cockerill-Mollett, Alfie Bates and Elijah Adebayo.

Co-operative Travel have agreed to donated £300 in vouchers to this season's winners with the Player of the Season set to win £200 - whilst also collecting the The Robert Sadler Shield - and the Young Player taking £100.

Supporters can also cast their vote by texting or ringing Trust secretary Steve Davies on 07799835388 – those texting are asked to include their name.

Voting will remain open until 10.00pm on Friday, 24th April, with the winners due to be announced on Friday, 1st May.
