After losing just once in nine league outings between mid November and the turn of the year, the Saddlers have gone on to lose four of their last five and are among the out-of-form teams currently struggling for points.
Scarr, who has made thirty-five appearances so far this season, agreed that the team needs luck on their side but can't rely on outside sources and must continue to work hard to turn things around.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Dan said; "We were creating chances, we were still being hard to beat at the back but things weren’t falling for us and in football you need that bit of luck to sometimes swing your way.
"Once it does you start creating your own luck. We weren’t creating our own luck when things were going against us. We’ve got to take each game as it comes and keep working hard in training – keep listening to the coaches.
"We’ll go into the next game with good confidence that we’re going to back each other and give it a good go and that’s all we need to do. Every game we play we need to take it to the team we’re playing."
