"He Won't Be Signing For Us" - Clarke Rules Out Josh March Arrival

Walsall manager Darrell Clarke has spoken to the local press and confirmed the club won't be signing Leamington's sought-after striker Josh March despite the club being one of several to have had a bid accepted for him.
March has been watched by a whole host of clubs up and down the EFL as he continues to impress for the National League North Brakes with Forest Green Rovers said to be leading the chase.

Leamington FC can confirm that they have accepted an offer for the transfer of Josh March from an English Football League club. Subject to the necessary paperwork being completed it is envisaged the transfer should be completed on Monday January 6.

Leamington recently confirmed that a deal had been agreed with an as yet unnamed club and a deal is expected to be concluded early next week, but Clarke, who is said to be seeking width in the January Transfer Window, has confirmed he won't be arriving in WS1.

Speaking in the wake of the Saddlers' 2-1 victory away to Salford City, Darrell said; "He won't be signing for us. I've heard a lot of things in this game but what I will say is that I do my business quietly. It's the way I work. So I can tell you Josh March won't be signing for us, it's as simple as that."
