Speaking at Thursday evening's Fans' Focus event Clarke, who was joined by chairman Leigh Pomlett, chief executive Stefan Gamble, and director Dan Mole, fielded several questions from fans in attendance.
The manager, who has already added 18-year-old Reading winger Jack Nolan to his squad, confirmed the club are looking to do more business with a potential new arrival being confirmed as early as Monday.
Speaking to the assembled supporters, Darrell said; "Hopefully on Monday. He's a League One squad member who has played around thirty games there. I'm looking to get him over the line on Monday."
Clarke, who answered questions covering a wide range of topics also confirmed that, despite Nolan's arrival, he is still looking to add width to his squad. Darrell continued; "I'm in the market for an experienced wide player too."
