Bouncing back from last weekend's disappointing defeat to Cheltenham Town, goals from Josh Gordon and Wes McDonald saw the Saddlers remain in the top half of the table and continue their strong spell of form.
Clarke, who gave a second-half debut the new recruit Jack Nolan, insisted his team deserved the win as, despite going a goal down in the first half, his side enjoyed the lion-share of the ball and took three well-deserved points.
