The Trust: 2019 Christmas Toy & Food Appeal

The Walsall Football Supporters' Trust have confirmed the details of this season's Christmas Toy & Food Appeal, with collections set to take place at Banks's Stadium on Saturday, 14th December.
The appeal, which will be in aid of Walsall Manor Hospitals Children's Ward and The Black Country Food Bank via The Thomas Project, will be held ahead of the Saddlers' League One clash with Macclesfield Town and see Trust members on hand to take collection of your donations.

The Trust has also confirmed that some of the toys will be given to the Walsall squad when they pay their annual visit to the Walsall Manor Hospital Children's Ward on Tuesday, with some being held back for those children in hospital on Christmas Day, whilst others will being distributed by the Trust to other local deserving causes.

The Trust appreciate that people lead busy lives, and that not everyone can get out to buy toys or food, so we also have a bucket collection on the day, with any money collected, spent on basic food items (and if necessary additional toys) on your behalf.

The Trust has also confirmed that the collection will take place whether the scheduled League Two clash between the Saddlers and troubled Silkmen goes ahead or not, with Trust members hopefully being available to receive donations from midday on Saturday afternoon.
