Wes McDonald: "I'm Absolutely Delighted to Be Here"

Following the news that he'd joined the Saddlers on a short-term deal, former Birmingham and Yeovil winger Wes McDonald has spoken to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to prove himself with the Banks's Stadium club.
22-year-old McDonald, who joins the Saddlers following a spell without a club, is one of a string of new signings and is hoping to do enough to earn a more long-term stay with the club.

Wes, who made twelve first-team appearances during a short-term stay with Yeovil Town last season, went on to thank the gaffer for affording him an opportunity with such a great club.

Speaking via iFollow Walsall, Wes said; "I’m absolutely delighted to be here. I’m buzzing and can’t wait to get started at such a great club like Walsall.

"I’m a creative player and try to create chances, score goals and get assists. I always look to work hard and I’ve played in this league before so I know what to expect. I’m looking forward to going away with the lads [to Poland].

"I’ve spoken to a few of them and they seem a real good bunch of lads. I’m delighted the manager has given me this opportunity and I want to repay him on the pitch."
