Pring, becomes Darrell Clarke's seventh signing of the summer joining the likes of Stuart Sinclair, James Clarke, James Hardy, Elijah Adebayo, Jack Kiersey and Shay Facey in making the move to the Black Country.
21-year-old Moir-Pring made fifteen appearances in League Two last season during loan spells with Newport County and hometown club Cheltenham Town.
The full-back, who was a youth team player at Cheltenham before moving to Ashton Gate, has also enjoyed stints with Merthyr Town, Aldershot Town and Hereford.
Manager Darrell Clarke spoke to club journalists, and welcomed Cameron to the club, he said; "Cameron is a lad I’ve known quite a bit about for a while. He’s a Bristol City boy so when I was working at Rovers, I knew a lot about the youngsters down there.
"He’s had a couple of loans already at this level and I’ve seen the boy grow over the last couple of years. He’s robust, can win headers and is certainly going to add a bit of quality in the left-back area."
