News in Brief: Cameron Peters Joins Bromsgrove Sporting

Former Walsall striker Cameron Peters, who was among the players released at the end of last season, has agreed to join Bromsgrove Sporting for the 2019/20 campaign.
20-year-old, Hereford-born Peters, who is a product of the Saddlers' academy, enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Rouslers last season and will no doubt be delighted to return to the club for the upcoming campaign.

Bromsgrove Sporting are delighted to announce that we have secured the signature of Cameron Peters for the 2019/20 season. Ex-Walsall striker Cameron is obviously no stranger to Sporting fans, being a familiar face in our promotion-winning 2018/19 season, where he scored some crucial goals.

Sporting manager Bren Kelly spoke to club journalists and welcomed Cameron back to the Victoria Ground, he said; "Cameron’s ability is there for all to see. He had a stop start season last year, with three loan spells, but he can now call Sporting his home and get his head down, train hard, and score goals.

"Coming from a pro club, we had to compete for his signature, so we are chuffed he chose us."
