Martin O'Connor: "You Must Back the Club as You Have Always Done"

Following the club's relegation to Sky Bet Leagur Two, interim Walsall manager Martin O'Connor has taken to social media to thank the club's fans for their support during his time at the helm.
O'Connor, who was ultimately unable to halt a run of form which put the Saddlers on the path to relegation, also called upon the fans to back the club as they begin to prepare for life in the fourth tier of English football.

51-year-old O'Connor took charge of five games, winning one, drawing two, and losing the others and, speaking via his official Twitter feed, has asked the supporters to get behind the club.

Skip said; "Now [that] the dust has settled, I’d like to say a big thanks to the Walsall fans [&] family for their support. You must back the club has you have always done."
