Dobson, who has captained the side in the absence of Adam Chambers and Joe Edwards, is set to lead the team through massive clashes with the Iron, Gillingham, Plymouth Argyle, Rochdale, and Blackpool, with each point proving crucial to the Saddlers' desire to secure league safety as soon as possible.
The former Arsenal and West Ham prospect, who returned to the club a year ago following a brief spell at Sparta Rotterdam, admitted that the month of January will be crucial if the Saddlers are to avoid a relegation dogfight as they get set to take on many of the sides also looking to avoid the drop to the fourth tier of English football.
Speaking via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk - George said; "This month is important for us because they are teams that are around us in the table and we are going to be looking to try and pick up some positive results.
"We are confident that we can pick up the results that we need and hopefully we can start with three points on Saturday. Scunthorpe have had an upturn in form, they’ve won their last three games.
"It’s possible for us to start a good run of games like we did at the start of the season and hopefully one positive performance with a positive result at the end of it might spur us on to go on and get a few.
"If we can get one positive result from a positive performance then I think we can go on to get a second, third and fourth. Once you get one, they can all come quickly so hopefully we can get our first positive result this weekend against Scunthorpe and that will spur us on for the rest of the month and for the rest of the season.
"Everyone is still positive, everyone is looking forward. No-one is looking behind us. We’re all still very confident. We have obviously had a dip in form lately and we need to rectify that quickly but the boys are still upbeat and confident and we’re all looking forward to the weekend."
